Seen from a physical aspect

When in 1950 Jozef Rulof was asked the question what he thought about donating a cornea, he immediately expressed the lovely human feeling of allowing a blind person to see again:
Someone else now asks: ‘Is giving the cornea, therefore the light from our eyes, to a blind person also good?’
Jozef says: ‘Also a good question, madam ...
What would you think about this yourselves, ladies and gentlemen?
Is this not worthwhile?
Is this not the most beautiful, therefore the most wonderful, which you can give the human being from yourself?
You help a human being with light in the eyes.
Questions and Answers Part 1, 1950
Jozef first wishes to know what the people in the audience think of this themselves, before he goes into the spiritual consequences of organ donation and transplantation:
First Jozef Rulof asks the question again to the people here in the hall.
‘So you would give your cornea to a blind person?
I first want to know what you would do, ladies and gentlemen, before I tell you what the masters think of this.
Would you do it?’
Many people want to give their cornea to the blind human being.
Questions and Answers Part 1, 1950
Jozef only then tells what the masters think about it.
By ‘master’ he means a person who, after his life on earth, has obtained in the hereafter the grade of master in a spiritual study.
This grade is only obtained after hundreds of years of study of the life in all its aspects, both the physical life and the spiritual life.
As a result, the masters not only know the physical consequences of organ donation and transplantation, but also the consequences for the spiritual continued existence after the physical death.
You will find more information about the masters in the article ‘Masters’.
Jozef then tells what master Zelanus knows about organ donation.

Spiritually connected

In the following quotation, Master Zelanus explains the perspective of a donor who has passed on to the hereafter.
In this quotation he speaks about the ‘spheres’, by which he means the spiritual worlds in the hereafter.
He says that he wishes to give his cornea if the new recipient does good with his cornea:
Then Jozef Rulof says: ‘Master Zelanus said: ‘I would do it, if the human being’, he spoke to a follower of ours, ‘does good with my light, is love, therefore is able and wants to serve the life as a result of my light and wants to serve, does not make bits and pieces, is not snappy, does not murder, because all of that is possible.
All of that comes to me and I now have to deal with that in the spheres.
If I was to give someone light and that person commits evil with and as a result of my light, then I would be weighed down in the spheres with misery.
Precisely that personality does it and I am attached to that, it is my life!
Is that human being, that personality, love, yes, then that human being can even serve and help me as a result of my light.
But woe betide, if bits and pieces are made, when that human being destroys, then I will get to experience all of that and that is not very nice.
I assure you, it is misery!
I will therefore not do it!’
Questions and Answers Part 1, 1950
The lady who had first said during the contact evening that she would also donate her cornea, takes back her words after hearing about these spiritual consequences:
What does that lady say now?
‘I will not do it anymore, I take my words back.’
Then master Zelanus also says: ‘You must decide for yourself.
I will now give you the spiritual reality and that is the truth: as a result of those people, you will experience trouble, spiritual misery.
The human being, who is not capable of serving, of loving, can murder as a result of your light.
You give the human being that now, by means of your light, your doing good.
And that gives the human being the opportunity to destroy, to hit and to kick, which did not used to be possible for him!’
Questions and Answers Part 1, 1950
Jozef Rulof remarks that for the human being on The Other Side in the hereafter everything is different, because this human being lives in the spiritual world ‘beyond the coffin’.
You hear it, we people see everything from our own lives.
But for soul and spirit, for the other side, everything is different.
The human being does not know himself and knows nothing about life behind the coffin.
Will you still give your light, madam, sir?
You will certainly think differently about it, won’t you?
I tell you, I once wanted to do that too.
And if I know for definite that the blind human being does good, is kind, you can get my blood, my heart, my brain, everything from me, even now, if you want.
I devote everything to Christ and I mean it!
But not for destruction!
I give nothing to destruction, because I give another the opportunity to commit evil and that will follow me.
I will be attached to it.
They are laws, which we as human beings cannot escape!
And no one thinks about this.
Questions and Answers Part 1, 1950
Master Zelanus tells how Jozef Rulof, who is referred to as André in the next quotation, first viewed organ donation from the perspective of the human being on earth:
But André said: ‘Yes, I will do this, you will get my light, my eyes.’
Questions and Answers Part 6, 1951
Then Jozef realizes that it looks very different from the perspective of The Other Side:
And suddenly he says: ‘No.’
Because then he attuned himself cosmically, he therefore started to see it from the other side.
Could I make you happy with my light, from my eyes, if I know that you will do wrong with that, soon, now that you can see?
What will you do then?
Then I would rather leave you blind.
And the Christ said: ‘Let the blind heal the blind.’
That means: you would be better to remain blind now, than that you rape and destroy others by means of my light.
Because now you will look and you will be lord and master again, by means of my light.
Now I am saddled with your evil, because I gave you my light.
That is cosmically seen.
Humanly seen, you say: ‘Yes, of course.
Why not?’
But cosmically seen I go away from you, because I do not have to do with your life.
If I was to give something of me to you, then you can be done with it.
If I know that you will give love and that you will live as the ten commandments say that and the Christ wants it, you will get, you can already get my light now, because then you will do it even better than I.
Questions and Answers Part 6, 1951
Jozef Rulof compares donating an organ to donating feeling:
If you could give the human being your feeling and you knew that the human being would murder as a result of this, what would you do then?
No, then you would not give that human being your feeling.
You teach someone to develop his feeling for art, sir, and if that other human being is just like a madman, if he hits and kicks as a result of his art, then you did not teach him that, did you?
What do you say to me now?
Sir, that happens every day.
I spoke to a pianist, a teacher.
That man said: ‘The most rotten thing of all is that you are always faced with that megalomania of your pupils and you just have to swallow that.
But if you were to do as you feel inside, you would kick all those pupils out the door, because I give those stumbling people precisely that, as a result of which they pull out another person’s eyes!’
And that man felt it, suffered because of it.
He saw that the pupils hit things to bits and pieces as a result of his art.
He also said: ‘This is the most ungrateful thing which can be done.
You cultivate rotten characters.’
And this is the truth!
Someone was not murdered by his pupil, but still ended up in a ‘prison’ innocent as it were.
As a result of the art?
As a result of jealousy!
It became destruction.
That man is the good educationalist, sir, the being of love.
That man suffered because of the rough character of his pupils.
This teacher had wanted to achieve more than just art, he wanted to give the personality something.
But he was not capable of it.
When that pupil possessed art, this life hit out left and right and the educationalist just had to swallow it!
Does half of humanity not suffer as a result of this?
Questions and Answers Part 1, 1950

Alternative

In 1951, during a contact evening a member of the audience speaks about plastic heart valves:
Last year the question was postulated about the transplantation of the cornea.
Now mankind is already that far that there are heart valves made of plastic.
And now people in America have done tests on dogs with heart valves made of plastic, and now people also intend to apply it to people.
Are such things tolerated, yes or no?’
Questions and Answers Part 6, 1951
Master Zelanus first deals with the question why heart valves are necessary, why we get diseases which shorten our lifetime.
He asks who is responsible for shortening the lifetime that we were given by means of our birth:
The actual birth of me and you is in the hands, is destroyed and smothered, by something; by whom?
The time of my life, who can contaminate my time?
Questions and Answers Part 6, 1951
Our lifetime is shortened by inherited diseases:
By your father and mother and your great-grandfather.
You therefore get cancer because of your family.
Questions and Answers Part 6, 1951
Master Zelanus explains that we are connected to our family by means of cause and effect:
No, that is not a family; you have to make amends to those people.
But the cancer lives in those people, in that circle.
So that cancer restricts your life, it breaks your time.
And this is now not a murder.
Now we are talking about cause and effect.
If those people are immaculate and pure; can you feel, then you would not pass over too soon, would you?
Questions and Answers Part 6, 1951
We enter the world with our parents, because we are spiritually connected by cause and effect.
However, we also receive cancer and all the other inherited diseases.
Our ancestors built up and passed on the diseases generation after generation, and as a result we now pass on too soon:
Ancestors.
His fault that you go to the other side thirty years too soon now, because he built up the cancer; and I now have that.
But I have to make amends to him, spiritually, I must serve him, or this or that, but I also get the cancer; and now I pass over too soon.
Questions and Answers Part 6, 1951
Master Zelanus calls the inherited burden of our body family karma.
The diseases are passed on generation upon generation and weaken our body.
In a further grade of development of the disease, the body is undermined to such an extent that the human being dies from this.
Master Zelanus indicates that there are academics who try to prevent this problem with a plastic heart:
Now I come here as an academic and I make a plastic heart.
Questions and Answers Part 6, 1951
Master Zelanus then explains that the masters of The Other Side inspire the earthly academics to fight the diseases in this way:
By what means do those people get these things from the Other  Side?
So the masters are busy making that karma, so making that passing over too soon dissolve, so that you get your time of life.
So we dissolve that family karma.
Questions and Answers Part 6, 1951
And the end is still not in sight:
You will soon get a brain made of plastic.
You will get eyes ...

Blood transfusion

Many people give their blood to help the fellow human being in this way.
If the donor blood is carefully checked for pathogens, according to the medical world the risk is then slight that a disease will also be transferred unintentionally.
However, according to Jozef Rulof, diseases can live so deep in the human blood that they can be passed on undetected in the case of a blood transfusion.
After all, the doctor can only look into the first grades of the blood:
If I take one drop of blood, then I will have, so in that drop of blood, millions of powers which ... directly to cancer, tuberculosis, leprosy ... all the diseases of the world can still be present in it, in that drop of blood, because it lives in that.
The doctor is now so far at the moment that he can see that that blood is completely pure to those and those grades, then you will get it.
Questions and Answers Part 4, 1952
Fortunately, many years pass by before these diseases manifest themselves visibly in the body of the recipient.
Usually, the recipient does not live long enough to suffer from them:
So you get blood for fifty, sixty years, for thirty, forty years.
Sir, the blood is thousands of years deep.
So those few hours which you live with that blood from another, is not dangerous.
Do you sense this?
Questions and Answers Part 4, 1952
Jozef continues: ‘The doctors examine the blood and see that it is good for your life.
But ... your whole ancestry lives in that same blood.
You must go back lives, if you wish to be able to experience and see the true core of this blood.
The doctors diagnose the day consciousness of the blood and this means, the first grades of it and it is now a question of seeing whether there is nothing present in that blood, which is fatal for your body, brings destruction.
But ... they cannot yet gauge the depth of the blood.
Because those cores live in the third and the fourth grade for the blood, that illness lives, that destruction and does not reach full development, because, as I already told you, your life here is too short.
However, if you had two hundred years to live, that blood would reach awakening and it is only then that we can determine which blood you have received.
Pure or sick.
But no blood in the human being is free from all illnesses, I assure you of that.
Questions and Answers Part 1, 1950
Jozef says: ‘We have already talked about blood transfusions several times here.
I will not go into that so deeply now, but I will tell you, if you still wish to live here, then take that blood.
But if you prefer to leave, then refuse to accept that blood; then you will certainly not be a suicide, or your body would not be sick.
You hear it already, madam, this is for yourself and is not bad, of course not, thousands of people have a new life to thank for it.
You must do everything, in order to keep your organism healthy.
And when you need blood and you were to refuse, no academic can help you any longer and you will live against the social and scientific grain and that is wrong.
There is therefore no question of danger!
I once already treated this spiritually and cosmically and that will soon be in our book.
You will read it and then know, how you have to act; for now I will therefore give you this: it is not dangerous, on the contrary, it will give you new life, it is the possibility, for keep you for this life!’
Lady: ‘But, you say, if you prefer to die, then refuse.’
Jozef: ‘You hear it now!
I am already attached to your life and your question.
Yes, madam, if you know the Other Side and you have life and death in your own hands – as I now possess this, but that is also another problem once again and already explained as well – you will probably decide otherwise and you will refuse to accept blood.
But then you must be cosmically conscious and you are not that!’
Lady: ‘I already understand it, Mr Rulof, and thank you!’
Questions and Answers Part 1, 1950

Sensitivity

Jozef indicates that sensitive people can be influenced by the feeling of the donor who remains connected to his own blood:
If the personality is a bit sensitive, very delicate, I guarantee you ...
I do not need to try it, then I would much rather vanish.
If they have to give me four, five litres of new blood then I will say: ‘Just give me from the water tap.
Then at least I will not be bothered by anything.’
And if you have that sensitivity ...
I can tell you something about sensitivity sometime.
Someone says – it was during the time when I was still at the garage – ‘Would you like a nice suit, Jozef?’
I say: ‘Yes.’
I put on that nice suit.
And I was walking, and a few days later I was already walking ... (Jozef gives an imitation.)
And then I stood like that, you know.
Then my wife says: ‘What is the matter with you?’
I say: ‘Nothing, nothing.’
And then I sat pulling at that, pulling here again.
I think: the ‘droodles’, that is in that suit.
I quickly gave it to a rag and bone man, because I almost had convulsions.
Just from that suit.
And now I must also take the blood from a man like that, sir. (laughter)
Well, that will not work, will it, that will not work.
Questions and Answers Part 4, 1952
However, other people do not suffer from that sensitivity:
But now also the blood from that other man on top of it, sir.
Therefore it is: you do not have that sensitivity.
And giving that blood for the human being, that all goes wonderfully too.
Later that will no longer be necessary either, because science will come that far that diseases can be conquered.
Cancer and tuberculosis, that will all be conquered.
So we will no longer be bothered by them soon.
Questions and Answers Part 4, 1952
Jozef indicates that the spiritual consequence of blood transfusion is the same for the donor as for donating organs:
The people asked me here: ‘Must you, can you give the light from your eyes, the cornea to the human being?
Would you do that?’
I said: ‘No, now I will no longer do it.’
Why?
I explained that to the people.
If I go soon ...
‘And if you enter the coffin, you can give the cornea and then a human being can perhaps see again because of you.’
And then I said ...
I said first: ‘Yes.
Do it.
Great, wonderful.’
But it is going that far, and you say I am right again, when you really now, when people on the other side live in the first sphere, where you are harmony in everything, love, and you see back from there that that blind man who now sees, because of you, beats things to pieces, and steals from and cheats the human being – it is possible, isn’t it? – then you get the pain, because you have now helped someone to begin with destruction, because that sorrow, that pain, that beating follows you in that world.
Do you not believe that?
So I do not even do that anymore.
You can ultimately, if you stand before the laws, not give the human being anything more, nothing, nothing.
You must do it yourself.
Questions and Answers Part 2, 1951
(Lady in the hall): ‘Is that also the case for a blood transfusion?’
Oh, madam, we also talked about that here.
Just the same thing.
Questions and Answers Part 2, 1951
We will not begin with the blood transfusion, because that is a whole lot.
If you want to know, I will go into it, but then you must formulate the question.
(Lady in the hall): ‘A moment ago you said: no eye.’
What did you say?
(Lady in the hall): ‘ ... with that eye lending, that that was wrong, this is why I thought: is blood lending also wrong?’
Madam, a blood transfusion is just as bad as lending an eye.
Now it comes down to it.
You cannot live in my world, and I cannot live in yours; I no longer do it.
And that is logical too.
But when at a certain moment – here in the hall, I am asked that question – when it is necessary at a certain moment ... A gentleman asked that question, and he says: ‘My son received a blood transfusion, is that okay?’
I say: ‘Yes.’
I say: ‘From a physical point of view, for this consciousness of the human being, yes, why not?
Questions and Answers Part 2, 1951

Seen from a cosmic aspect

In the books by Jozef Rulof, as well as the physical and spiritual perspective, we also find a cosmic analysis of blood transfusion.
This analysis is given by master Zelanus who, after his earthly life, studied life on earth and in the hereafter for nine centuries.
Master Zelanus focuses on the question what blood transfusion can mean for the evolution of the human body on earth.
The masters have established that the resistance of the body has decreased considerably in the course of centuries, and every generation is further weakened.
The inherited burden is now so great that blood transfusion can be considered as a drop in the ocean.
For the healing of all human bodies, much more is needed than blood transfusions.
In order to permanently heal the body in which the soul lives on earth, that body must be connected in the future to a macrocosmic instrument:
Do you wish to have my heart, do you wish to have my blood?
What is blood?
I will not give my blood.
You built up a hospital, a Red Cross state, and then one person gives and thinks: I am giving blood to another.
And then you think that it is good.
Talk to me sometime, then I will take it away from you.
Then we will say: ‘Determine that blood.’
No cancer, no tuberculosis.
But descend sometime into the third grade.
If I have to die, Jozef Rulof, for example, through the masters, then we would rather die than accept your blood in order to live.
I do not want any blood.
I do not want your cancer which lives in the third grade in you.
Because it is true that illnesses came because of getting blood, and they got cancer, tuberculosis after four years, because they were injected with tuberculosis in the third grade, and it was conscious in twenty years.
Does your doctor not know that?
You are just following emergency measures.
The human being is beautiful when you give your blood?
Ha ha, you are laughed at by the spheres, by the universe.
Is that true or not?
Just ask your doctors sometime, in the fourth grade he can no longer see whether there is cancer, and in the third grade of evolution the tuberculosis and the cancer reveal themselves.
You are talking about your great grandfather.
Just have a child, that child will produce the cancer, the cancer, because the third grade, you see, because the birth, to receive one child is a grade, is consciousness, foundation.
The third grade in the new life, new child, a child again, that is a new life: the cancer lies there, of your ancestors, in the third grade of life, there mother, father, aunt, child; tuberculosis, leprosy, it reaches awakening.
That giving blood to your Red Cross and for a patient, that is good for a few things, but it is wrong for ninety-nine percent, because they are just makeshift measures.
At the bottom of your back, on your black suit you get a red rag.
And then you walk, great.
Take my blood, I have pure blood; tuberculosis also lives again in the fifth grade.
Not I. I am not talking to you, child.
But I know it.
You will feel, all learning by means of which the human being builds that up and thinks he can help a bit, insanity, psychopathy, there it is this and here it is that, they go from dry land into the ditch, they want to bring about ways, here ways, here ways.
No, you must connect with the universe.
If you get the macrocosmic instrument soon, tuberculosis will dissolve, leprosy and everything, that will dissolve, everything.
Questions and Answers Part 5, 1950
The present-day human being seeks means to dissolve the suffering.
This is why blood transfusion is part of the consciousness of present-day mankind.
It means that mankind has already evolved to the level of helpfulness.
The human being is already committed to the suffering of his fellow human being and wants to remedy that.
That blood transfusions were developed in the twentieth century means that mankind has already evolved further both materially and spiritually than the time that Christ was on earth.
But, do you understand, - in order to finish that now – that the blood transfusion has consciousness in order to dissolve the suffering process for the human being?
And that the blood transfusion already belongs to this century?
Can you feel this?
Soon the human being, science will have instruments by means of which every disease will dissolve, tuberculosis, cancer and everything, you will read that in the book ‘The Peoples of the Earth.’
So the human being will live.
Then society will have, then the faculty will have, the university, the personality will have brought mankind to higher thinking and feeling, and now he has those karmic laws in his hands, that is development.
Questions and Answers Part 5, 1950
And it happens, that now belongs to your society, that belongs to the consciousness for this mankind.
Can you feel?
So all the technical wonders which you will soon get, will make your life happy and make you feel content.
That is all evolution.
Because in hundreds of years, what will the world be like in a hundred thousand years?
Then the human being will really live in paradise.
God meant that, that is the deity, the spiritual God on earth, and then you will no longer need to do anything else but breathe and make trips over the world.
You will only have to take care of motherhood and fatherhood, no more than that.
Questions and Answers Part 5, 1950
‘... this is now cosmology, this is spatial psychology ...’:
(Lady in the hall): ‘I also wanted to ask about the blood transfusion.
If a person now refuses to prolong his life by means of the blood transfusion, is that bad?’
If you refuse?
No, of course not.
If you, this is cosmology now, this is the spatial cosmology ...
If you are ill and you can get a transfusion, and you say: I do not want it, then you will still pass over when it is your time.
Even if you pass over in five minutes and a doctor says: ‘You can still live for so many years.’
‘No, doctor, I do not want that, I want to go.’
Can you feel this?
Who decides here about passing over?
Which consciousness is that?
You are that.
The blood has no consciousness; it keeps the body alive.
But your life of feeling will say: yes or no.
And that is the end of the body, you see.
The body does not die.
What nonsense, what nonsense we are talking now, the body does not die.
I will come back to you.
(To someone in the hall): Does the organism die?
(Someone in the hall): ‘No.’
But what does it do then?
(Hall): ‘Dissolve.’
Yes, that is a rotting process.
No, what is dying now?
(Lady in the hall): ‘The separation of ...’
The separation.
The spirit does not take leave.
There is no dying.
You die, and now that word ‘dying’ must disappear from the earth.
There is no dying.
You free yourself as a spiritual personality and you go to the new birth, or you go straight on to the Spheres of Light.
Questions and Answers Part 5, 1950
