Yearning for God
One and indivisible, great is God.
On Him our destiny is founded.
In His Love He enfolds us.
Utterly forlorn is he who does not know Him.
Great is the Light He radiates
And that descends upon mankind,
On all, down to the smallest child.
Keep that glorious Light burning,
And should it kindle a flame in your life,
Then life’s end will see no trembling.
Then your spirit, filled with yearning,
Will hereafter be received by God with joy.
Live, Brethren, all who read these lines,
To be united with the Spirit Divine.
