Connection with the body

Jozef Rulof explains what people on the Other Side lack as a result of embalming:
If you let yourself be embalmed here and there and everywhere by the life, by the body, then you miss a part of an aura.
There is something lying there, even if it is a mummy, but life is lying there.
That is unconscious life and by means of legal medicines you preserve - you know about embalming, I do not know exactly all the things that are needed for that, but fine - you preserve something, and you miss that completely on the other side, your spiritual personality lacks that in aura.
Because you assume that the personality is the feeling with knowledge, but the life on the other side is the astral life of feeling.
Can you feel, where I want to steer this?
So you keep on missing something of your own life, you start to fragment your life.
Questions and Answers Part 2, 1951
As a result of embalming, life energy remains attached to the body which the soul needs for its continued existence.
Embalming is also universally wrong; it is keeping alive what must die, according to the universal laws, if the soul wishes to experience everything of itself in order to carry on again.
Now it is missing something because of that cursed wisdom of people and its evolution is standing still!
Jeus of Mother Crisje Part 3, 1952
The soul is spiritually attached to the body as long as that body does not dissolve:
Good, but her spirit suffers and is attached to that body.
There are spiritual personalities, who remain attached to one point for thousands and thousands of years, because the human being began with embalming , etc. more.
Questions and Answers Part 5, 1950

Fragmented life of feeling

During a contact evening, Jozef Rulof is asked the question whether a soul can reincarnate if that soul is still attached to its embalmed body from a previous life:
I have here: The human being who let himself be embalmed during the time of the Egyptians, so remained in the ground as a mummy for thousands of years, must this personality wait for his first reincarnation until his rarefied body has dissolved?
Does this reincarnation go ahead anyway?
I was led to believe that he would have to wait.
My friend told me that it was not necessary.
Will you explain this question for us, who is right?
From who is that?
(Gentleman in the hall:) "Yes."
Your friend said that that spirit, that personality did not have to wait?
(Gentleman in the hall says something.)
What did you say?
(Gentleman in the hall): "He said that, that he did not have to wait and that that reincarnation went ahead directly."
And who is that friend of yours?
Does he come here too?
(Gentleman in the hall): "Yes, but he is not here now."
But that was well sensed, because that reincarnation goes ahead.
We have spoken here about embalming several times.
What happens now if you let yourself be embalmed, in Egypt, France, England, and everywhere you go in the world, so hundreds of lives, ?
What finally happens because there is a body of yours lying there, and there and here and there and there?
What finally happens to your personality now if you let yourself be embalmed everywhere?
Questions and Answers Part 2, 1951
Jozef explains that being attached to various mummies leads to a psychopathic state:
And finally, if you let yourself be embalmed everywhere, that is a psychopathic state.
You are still not psychopathically ill, but you are physically weak, unconscious, because the life ... You have perhaps just thirty-five or forty per cent of the hundred per cent in strength, life, which you actually get and possess in a new life.
Is that clear?
Did you know that it goes that far with embalming?
That goes that far.
Questions and Answers Part 2, 1951
The personality of these people dissolves:
I explained to you one evening, when that question was asked, if the human being lets himself be embalmed life in life out, you get thirty, forty, fifty, a hundred lives; in the long term you are attached to all those mummies, those bodies, and your personality dissolves of its own accord because of that.
You now fragment your life of feeling.
And later you walk in a world, you are there and you are not there, until those bodies dissolve.
Embalming is irrevocably wrong.
Cremation is wrong, but embalming even worse.
You remain attached to that world, to that body.
Questions and Answers Part 6, 1951
A spiritual teacher of Jozef Rulof, master Zelanus, explains that the day-consciousness of the human being cannot be completely built up in his new incarnation due to the lack of feeling of consciousness that is still attached to those mummies.
The day consciousness is our earthly consciousness that we possess when we are awake.
(Lady in the hall): ‘Master Zelanus, does that go that far, that all those mummies, I will just say, would then be destroyed ...’
That dissolves then.
(Lady in the hall): ‘ ...would that be better for that personality?’
That carbonized, dried out tissue must dissolve.
There is not so much life aura anymore.
Look, the more those tissues ...
They are still alive; everything which lives, which you see, is alive.
Now we get conscious spiritual aura and unconscious aura.
And this is already unconscious, that means, the tissues no longer have any viability and are dried out.
But your life of feeling is attached to that being, and that requires five, seven, up to ten percent in power of feeling, therefore life aura, conscious.
Still not even living aura, so conscious power, but your life of feeling.
So this goes straight to the day consciousness, not for the human being, but for the rebirth, for the cosmos, for the reincarnation.
You are lying there, and you are lying there, and there, and you are being fragmented.
(Lady in the hall): ‘Then it is actually a mercy to destroy all those mummies.’
That is a mercy, yes, indeed.
The world still has a lot to learn, at least mankind, because about mystical, spiritual ...
These are not mystical laws.
You know, we speak from spiritual science.
We live in that source.
And this is a wrong foundation for all of this mankind.
Questions and Answers Part 6, 1951
By this ‘wrong foundation’, master Zelanus is referring to the embalming.
Further on in this quotation, he mentions a second wrong foundation: the cremation.
When people place the body ‘on the fire’, just as with embalming, they deny the human being the pure law of nature of ‘dying and growing’.
See also the article ‘cremation or burial’.
Millions of people have themselves embalmed, and in the East they do yet other wrong things, there people already put the child on the fire, and even more crazy things; all nonsense with regard to the pure law of nature ‘dying and growing’.
Questions and Answers Part 6, 1951
In this respect, the book ‘Masks and Men’ speaks about the worst psychopaths who exist, because the soul does not reach consciousness in centuries.
This is not referring to the sick criminally conscious psychopaths who are a danger to other people, and can be considered as the worst psychopaths for the safety of the fellow human being.
We let ourselves be embalmed.
There are still some of us in ancient Egypt in the ground, who let themselves be killed and embalmed, but they smoke a dreadful pipe.
That cigar burns on eternally.
All those embalmments create an internal influence.
You will sense, those bodies cannot dissolve, the soul is attached to them and cannot be separated.
Yet such a soul gets another life.
But what is the conscious like?
Are these your very smartest fools?
No, the worst psychopaths there are.
Those souls do not have their full conscious.
This is why we know conscious and unconscious psychopathy.
Those are souls who went too far.
That embalming of all those bodies stops the development of the soul.
The soul attaches itself to those bodies.
It will not reach consciousness in centuries, because it drags something along behind it for eternity!
Masks and Men, 1948
Only burning the mummies can help these people:
If you wish to help those souls, then you must burn all that nonsense.
Those embalmed bodies, we also have enough of them here, eat at the conscious of the soul.
Those bodies keep something going which must die, dissolve.
If you wish to be free, to be able to go further in order to finish your lives, that is only possible if you have no ballast to carry with you.
Now you enter a life again, you miss something, you do not know what it is, doctors want to give you an injection and make you even more unconscious.
You feel it and you carry it with you.
You cannot avoid it, but you are amongst the living.
Something draws you if you have become conscious somewhere.
But where does it lie, where does it live?
And now all those thousands of problems for which you live!
Can you feel that the human soul has made a chaos of itself?
It has raped the natural laws.
It no longer has a normal existence, it is like a tale of woe.
Even more in the invisible as in that which you know as illnesses or other miserable matters.
Masks and Men, 1948
In this case, burning the mummified body is required, because only in this way is the aura released and at a much later stage the soul can finally use that aura again for her spiritual consciousness.
The soul must then experience the long-term consequences of a cremation, but for a mummified body there is no other way.
The long-term consequences of a cremation exist because the cremation allows all the auras to be released within a short time, as a result of which the soul has no opportunity to process and integrate that aura in a natural way.
More information about how cremation seriously impedes the spiritual continuance of the soul can be found in the sources of the article ‘cremation or burial’.

Why is this not known?

Master Zelanus is asked the question why the temple priest Venry from the book ‘Between Life and Death’ in Ancient Egypt could not yet receive this knowledge about embalming:
(Lady in the hall): ‘I am going back to ‘Between Life and Death.’
Yes.
(Lady in the hall): ‘From the books and from master Zelanus we learned that embalming is not allowed.’
That is up to you.
(Lady in the hall): ‘Yes, that is up to us.
But now, Venry is educated, or was a great-winged one.’
Yes.
(Lady in the hall): ‘The supreme priest dies.’
Yes.
(Lady in the hall): ‘Now Venry is ...’
A bit clearer.
(Lady in the hall): ‘Now Venry is informed of all the problems, that means, everything concerning death.
But we read, that the next day, that the supreme priest is embalmed.
Should people not have made that clear to Venry too that that was not allowed?’
Can I convince all of you here, can I convince society, can I convince your Amsterdam, your Rotterdam, your world of the laws after and beyond ‘the coffin’?
Can I bring you that which the cosmos, the cosmos offers you, gave you, God, Christ, space, the All-Source materialized, can I dispose of that to your university?
No?
(Lady in the hall): ‘No ...’
That was also for Egypt.
(Lady in the hall): ‘Yes.’
That book also lived in Egypt.
That Venry did not know so much.
You are comparing that book, that time, with the now.
But you remain in your time and you think from the present back to Egypt.
And then you take ‘The Peoples of the earth’, then you take ‘Spiritual Gifts’, you take ‘A View into the Hereafter.’
(Lady in the hall): ‘But what applies to now, also applied to before?’
What did you say?
(Lady in the hall): ‘What applies to the present, also applied to ...’
Yes, yes, my child, but those people ...
Can you not feel where I am leading?
(Lady in the hall): ‘Yes.’
Those people could still not understand that.
Isis had consciousness, Ra, the temple of Ra, the temple of Ré, Luxor, they had the consciousness which a piece of stone, a tree, a water, a flower, a bird, the god of the night were gods.
But we just have one God.
So that consciousness was still not that far.
Questions and Answers Part 5, 1950
Now this knowledge has been brought to earth by Jozef Rulof, but it is still not accepted by the consciousness of the current mankind.
This is why thousands are still lying waiting for salvation:
And it was there that these laws occurred.
Ancient Egypt never knew them, they were not yet that far.
And you know better than I do, that there is more embalming done there than anywhere else.
I tell you, there are still thousands lying in beautifully buried dungeons waiting for release.
Masks and Men, 1948
However, that salvation will probably only come with the direct voice instrument:
And what happens to you now?
People have laid you out beautifully there.
You are standing there.
They keep you alive.
And that organism must die, because you need your aura.
But then it is that far, then the Other Side says by means of the direct voice instrument – you will believe, if you accept ‘The Peoples of the Earth’, how wonderful that is becoming, a technical wonder – then the masters speak, then the masters say: ‘Away with those bodies.
