Who invented the word ‘human being’?

During a contact evening, Jozef Rulof asks his audience:
Who invented that word ‘human being’ and gave it to us?
The human being!
Questions and Answers Part 1, 1950
In their cosmology the masters look at all the life from the cosmos:
What remains of it, of your own terminology?
Who invented the word ‘human being’, but who invented the word ‘death’ and ‘dying’?
That does not live in the cosmos.
Questions and Answers Part 6, 1951
Then all the names that belong to the earthly thinking disappear:
The human being will disappear, also your dog, all those names which you gave to a thing will disappear.
Lectures Part 3, 1952
In order to describe the soul level, the masters built up an own terminology:
We, the masters, have our own terminology and that is clear, very natural.
Questions and Answers Part 1, 1950

The personality of the soul

Everything that we do, places us before the question whether our actions are in harmony with the life:
We experienced millions of lives, we went from planet to planet and in this way we came to this Earth.
Well, every thought of ours, every deed awakens something of the life, of our soul and that wakening is now the materialisation of that deed.
We do something and then we face the harmony or the personality of that deed.
The Cosmology of Jozef Rulof Part 4, 1944
As a result of all the disharmony, many people built up an inferior human image:
Do you still have any inferiority complexes, if you know where you are going?
I believe that you will soon become afraid for yourself in order to make a conscious thieving footstep with regard to the human being, yourself, your fatherhood, your motherhood, your soul, your life, your spirit, your light, your personality.
Lectures Part 3, 1952
The article ‘karma’ explains that the word murderer cannot typify the whole essence of the soul:
But that man who is a murderer there, is not a murderer in his whole being.
He comes back to the earth and gives to that life which he now flung from that life too soon - he is man, he will become a mother - he gives a new body to that soul for that and that time, then it is finished again.
And soon everything will be finished and then he will continue, because he must go to a spiritual world in order to prepare himself for a new material cosmos, the fourth cosmic grade.
Questions and Answers Part 3, 1952
The soul is much more spacious than one action of its personality:
Or did you think that a murderer always remained a murderer?
And did you think that a human being makes a mistake, that then the whole personality must immediately be kicked into the corner?
Questions and Answers Part 4, 1952
After committing a murder, the soul ensures recovering its harmony in following lives:
What is a murderer?
God does not know you as a murderer, but for space you are a human being who has suffocated the divine harmonic laws for birth and for reincarnation.
Questions and Answers Part 5, 1950
The soul goes further and further and builds up a personality by experiencing many bodies:
And that body can also die, can disappear, the soul goes further, She cannot be stopped.
People cannot destroy her.
That personality is growing and blossoming.

Not a single soul is an ‘eskimo’

When master Alcar explained to Jozef Rulof what power the original body of the fifth material grade of life had, he indicated that the human being on earth used the name eskimos here:
‘Yes, they are called Eskimos.
The Origin of the Universe, 1939
The body of the fifth material grade of life could stand the cold climate as a result of which a group could settle in the north:
Their bodies are hardened and can stand this climate.
The Origin of the Universe, 1939
During a contact evening, a reader asked Jozef Rulof how it is possible that the eskimos cannot evolve any higher than the fifth grade.
Jozef replied to him that the masters never said that.
The reader was not aware that the word eskimo belongs to the earthly thinking, while the fifth physical grade of life is a term from the soul level.
Not a single soul is attached to a particular material grade of life, the soul experiences all the grades and billions of bodies in order to evolve:
Question from Mr Berends: ‘In the book ‘The Origin of the Universe’ part ... it says, that the Eskimos live in the fifth physical grade of life and they cannot go any higher.
But, Mr Rulof, in that case they would stand still in their evolution and that is not possible, since every being must experience the material seventh grade once, if the inner life wishes to receive the highest one day.
The inner life for the Eskimos is also one with the material, natural organism, while for others, therefore who do not possess any natural organism, therefore of the fifth grade, the soul starts to awaken.
What is the explanation for this?
Perhaps it is simple, but do you wish to go into this?’
Jozef says: ‘All the things you explain to me and have to tell me there, Mr Berends, is the mangling of those laws, I cannot make any sense of it.
You are completely off the mark.
The Masters never said such a thing.
Questions and Answers Part 1, 1950
Jozef explained that parents can only attract those souls as children who are orientated on the same material grade of life as the body that the parents have:
You did not understand that.
You could have understood that, because it is written differently in the book and analysed naturally, but you yourself are including other possibilities.
More people do that, but now you have irrevocably reached a standstill, which we now experience once more.
What you feel is namely this, that you and those Eskimos cannot attract any other inner life, than your own grade of life possesses.
Is this not the case?’
Berends: ‘I know now, thank you.’
Questions and Answers Part 1, 1950

Our cosmic life

Our soul experiences on earth physical grades of life in order to develop itself inwardly:
There are no people living on earth, but grades of life.
The Cosmology of Jozef Rulof Part 3, 1944
In their cosmology the masters speak about the All-Source within ourselves.
The article ‘All-Soul and All-Source’ gives an image of that All-Source:
This is Cosmology.
You are connected with the macrocosmos, with the All-Source, the All-Mother, and the All-Father for and in yourself.
Lectures Part 3, 1952
That All-Source within ourselves is in evolution:
So the All-Source - now the word comes - has condensed itself in that space: itself.
Questions and Answers Part 3, 1952
When we see and love everyone as life of the All-Source, we can transcend the earthly thinking in body and character:
The All-Source lives here in the hall.
You see each far too much as people.
If only you did not see people.
I love life, but not characters.
You all look at characters and at a personality.
But look at life, and you must try to love that and it will happen of its own accord.
Questions and Answers Part 3, 1952
The masters describe the basic foundations of our life.
They are explained in the article ‘our basic powers’:
The human being who has reached the Other Side, was also on earth.
He lived – I gave you this – from the origin of creations.
He went through the prehistoric ages, conquered this universe only by means of three Divine laws – I explained to you – which the human being possesses and by means of which he can determine, can see, can feel and experience his Divine attunement.
That is fatherhood, motherhood and reincarnation.
You have these three foundations in your hands every day for every thought.
Now you get to see the picture that nature, space keeps all of that in hand and that the human being passes on that space to the character traits, to the personality in himself, by means of which that evolution takes place.
I taught you all of that.
These three fundamental macrocosmic foundations, which were materialized and spiritualized by God, live in the human being and that is the human being.
Lectures Part 2, 1951
In their cosmology the masters describe the cosmic journey of the soul from the All-Source up to the All:
And then you can also absorb the picture in you by means of which that source took itself back to the Divine All, and then received the final unity invisibly and visibly.
But which would be represented by the life as a human being, as nature and the animal kingdom.
So the All-Source ...
André teaches you: you call yourself human, but you are not a human, you are All-Source.
It will soon no longer be a question of people here, of animals and plants and nature, it will be a question of the All-Source spiritualizing and materializing itself and then there will be no question of being human.
Lectures Part 3, 1952
Then we are a grade of evolution of the soul which condenses itself into a material body:
We are therefore a grade of life as soul, as divine core, as All-Source capacity, as spirit, as life, we are a law of condensing, because is your material, is your castle, your temple not condensed?
Questions and Answers Part 5, 1950
The life has brought itself to a material grade:
Who said something to me there, who was that?
(Gentleman in the hall): ‘It was me.’
Yes, yes, but here.
That is, the universe spoke to me, interprets, materializes, that consciousness started to think like a human being, we call that a human being, but you are a grade of life.
Questions and Answers Part 5, 1950
That life has also reached a particular grade of feeling:
But for space and the Other Side mankind has dissolved, because you now represent a grade as feeling, as spiritual material in which you live as father and mother.
And that is a world; that is a sphere, that is a space, and that is the Divine representation as a human being.
Lectures Part 3, 1952
Everything that we see is a grade of evolution of the life:
We do not know any kings and queens on earth, only grades of life!
We do not know any people!
The Cosmology of Jozef Rulof Part 3, 1944
When the life has reached the pre-animal-like grade of feeling, as a human personality it reaches disharmonic actions, because at that moment it is still not conscious of the harmony of the own All-Source and All-Mother:
Those are the Divine laws of justice and that became our obtained pre-animal consciousness, but also for all the other life.
Macrocosmos and microcosmos are still one and the soul is still certain of her grades of life.
However, her laws of life took her to the disharmony, the first laws of life of which we were able to experience.
What I now feel, my Master, is that we must follow her cause and effect, in order to see her again soon in her dark world, the hells, as people on Earth call it for the present stage.
The evolution took her to disharmonic life and that could not be prevented, I now establish and we have to accept.
There also comes to my life, whether that was intended by the All-Mother, so a Divine question, which we must answer.
The Cosmology of Jozef Rulof Part 5, 1944
The masters from the conscious All explain why we could not skip this disharmony:
Did the All-Mother perhaps send us, herself, consciously to these laws of life, not one of which we have understood?
I am starting to feel what the conscious Divine All, the University of Christ, wants from my life and consciousness, so that I can answer you.
We now have to accept and we were also able to experience those Divine laws on the Moon, that (not) we are experiencing these unconscious grades of life, these animal-like attunements, but the All-Mother herself!
And that is now a wonderful difference, and we people have nothing more to say.
It is the All-Mother who materialized herself as a human and spiritual grade of life.
Can you feel this, my Master?
This word is awe-inspiring!
Because it takes away all the human questions, which are being asked for the present stage.
The human being asks:
Why did God not finish us suddenly?
Why must we experience misery, if God is love?
Why did the human being have to go through these dark, pre-animal laws of life first, we ask!
And then we can answer: It is the All-Source!
The All-Mother!
The All-Father!
The All-Spirit!
The All-Soul!... which materialized herself as human and animal life, but by means of which we as human beings received the own life.
The Cosmology of Jozef Rulof Part 5, 1944
Our soul as our All-Source grows in consciousness through all the disharmony:
The All-Source will therefore materialize and spiritualize herself, but we record the disharmony of that, as human being, as life of God.
It was not possible any differently, the soul must get through this, but her Divine attunement will protect her from general destruction.”
The Cosmology of Jozef Rulof Part 5, 1944
The disharmonic actions are only a temporary aspect of the awakening personality of our eternal soul:
What is a Human Being?
Does the earthly being know itself?
Did this being not get an inferiority complex because of its own disharmony?
Archives, 1945
Our cosmic journey takes us through seven cosmic grades of life in order to develop our spatial consciousness:
Grades came about, we call them seven transitions, and we will soon see those seven transitions in order to experience fatherhood and motherhood again in the universe as macrocosmic lives.
As the first, the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth, the sixth and the seventh cosmic grade, in order to enter the All, the Divine All as a human being and you will be a Deity.
You are now a human part of your ... of the All-Source – also a Deity – but for your spatial conscious, your Divine character you are first humanly conscious.
We have spatial consciousness, we get Divine consciousness and we now analyse and explain the laws of them to you.
