Science of that time

During a contact evening in 1950, Jozef Rulof explains to his audience that the term ‘races’ belongs to the science from their time.
At soul level people only know material grades of life for the human organism.
These are seven types of bodies which the soul experiences in order to expand its inner life:
We have seven grades for the human being, as physical laws of life.
Science calls this the races on earth.
These are for the universe and our life: grades of life for the human organism.

You also know that the coloured people, as the darker races, have also reached the seventh grade for the human organism and that those coloured people are no longer jungle inhabitants.
Negros (see article ‘Against racism and discrimination’ on rulof.org) have attunement to the sixth and seventh grade of life.
You can determine the heightened consciousness, the jungle inhabitant still has to reach that stage.

The article ‘material grades of life’ gives a further explanation about the connection between the jungle and the various material grades of life.

There are no different races

The body on earth does not belong to a race, but to a material grade of life:
Everybody feels and has his own material life and that is not because this is a race, but because these are the degrees which determine the material degree and condition of man on earth.
The Origin of the Universe, 1939
There are no types of races, but material grades of life which the soul goes through in its development:
We do not have any types of race here, but grades of development.

Soul level

‘The Origin of the Universe’ was written according to the social thinking from 1939.
It is only in ‘The Cosmology of Jozef Rulof’ that the soul level is fully unfolded:
But now you go, from that book ‘The Origin of the Universe’ to cosmology, and I cannot do that either, because then you must also make the other journey, and then I will take care of you again, but you cannot do that.
Now you start to see it cosmically.
And for ‘The Origin of the Universe’ ... but this is humanly seen.
Do you understand that?
(Gentleman in the hall): ‘Yes, of course. But it is also written down like that humanly.
This is also for your thinking and feeling.
